Mary Jane Lee is Executive Vice President/CFO. A former newspaper editor and writer, she is also a Registered Nurse with degrees from Rutgers and Seton Hall. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji and co-developer and trainer of a Fiji nurse-midwives course. Thomas Bishop Jr. is Vice President of Operations. He administers HLA's contracts with the Office of Naval Research and the Missile Defense Agency, as well as Department of State and Department of Commerce projects. He spent four years in Thailand as a stock analyst with the Union Bank of Switzerland and as program manager for the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Gilbert Donahue is Vice President of Business Development. He administers HLA's GSA schedules and other IDIQ contracts, and serves as project manager for State Department and Commerce Department contracts. He is a retired State Department career Foreign Service Officer with a background in economics and international trade. Ann Bancroft is Director of Human Resources. She handles all personnel issues, including recruitment and manages HLA's employee benefits program. |
Harlan Lee is President/CEO. He established Harlan Lee & Associates in 1996 to provide quality international business services to government and the private sector. Prior to that, he was a State Department career Foreign Service Officer, with managerial assignments in Asia and the Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. He was Assistant Chief of Protocol and Executive Director of the Office of Protocol and Blair House, the President's Guesthouse, until 1995, and Protocol Advisor to the Director, 1997 Denver Summit of the Eight. He served as a Foreign Affairs Consultant to the State of Hawaii Department of Planning and Economic Development, and Special Assistant for International Affairs in the Mayor's Office, Seattle.
