HLA What's New: 2006

• December 2006: HLA was awarded a contract to provide meeting services for NOAA's Satellite and Information Services, Office of International and Interagency Affairs.



• October 2006: HLA was awarded a five year contract to provide administrative support services at the Office of Naval Research for the Director of Transition (ONR 03T).



• September 2006: HLA provided support services to the State Department's Inspector General's office.


• September 2006: HLA was awarded a GSA contract to provide meeting support and facilitation services to the NOAA Pacific Services Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.



• August 2006: HLA and teaming partner Strategic Analysis completed work on the 8th annual CJCS 2006 Reserve Component Conference, held at the National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, VA. Approximately 60 General Officers attended the three day conference.



• June 2006: HLA Senior Associate Gil Donahue was commended by Fairfax County for his contributions to publication of a history of Braddock District, "Braddock's True Gold: 20th Century Life in the Heart of Fairfax County". Gil served as digital archivist and photographer for the community service project.



• June 2006: HLA was awarded a five year GSA AIMS (conference and trade show planning, commercial photography, commercial art and design services) multiple award schedule contract. HLA now has GSA MOBIS and GSA AIMS schedules.


• May 2006: HLA was awarded a $2.99 million three year contract to provide support services for the Corporate Logistics Department of the Office of Naval Research.



• May 2006: The HLA conference team assisted the Center for Women's Business Research in staging the Center's 12th annual Executive Roundtable at the Marriott Financial Center Hotel in New York City.



• April 2006: HLA and teaming partner Strategic Analysis were awarded a contract to provide conference support services for the 2006 CJCS Reserve Component Conference.



• March 2006: HLA was awarded a five year contract to provide system development and management support services to the State Department's ICASS office.



• February 2006: Harlan Lee and Kathleen Ryan (former U.S. Air Force Chief of Protocol) presented a program on Protocol and Ethics at the February meeting of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals, National Capital chapter.



• HLA celebrated its 10th anniversary on January 24, 2006.
