What's New: 2008
- September 2008: The Ocean.US interagency program, which opened in 2000, ceased its operations on September 30. HLA has provided support to Ocean.US since 2004, and is proud to have been associated with this unique program.
- May 2008: HLA was awarded a multiyear prime contract by the U.S. Navy under the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) acquisition program for services procurements for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the United States Marine Corps.
- March 2008: For the second year in a row, HLA provided conference support during the month of March to widely dispersed events on the East Coast and in Hawaii - a NOAA/NESDIS Advisory Committee meeting in Washington, D.C. on remote sensing, and an annual meeting on Pacific risk management in Honolulu.
- February 2008: HLA was awarded a multiyear contract by the Department of State to provide logistics support services to the Board of Examiners for offsite oral assessments, part of the Foreign Service examination process.
