HLA has been actively participating in "green conferencing" since the company's inception in 1996.

We provide comprehensive, turn-key international conference management services. We specialize in environmentally-friendly "green conferencing", using techniques that lessen the impact of meetings and events on the environment. These include the selection of hotels and meeting sites that are accessible to mass transit; accommodations that include in-house recycling, energy conservation, washable/re-usable containers, and linen re-use; the use of paper products with recycled content, and double-sided copying; dissemination of conference documentation using electronic means; and EnergyStar electronic equipment.
