Harlan Lee is President/CEO. He established Harlan Lee & Associates in 1996 to provide quality international business services to government and the private sector. Prior to that, he was a State Department career Foreign Service Officer, with managerial assignments in Asia and the Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. He was Assistant Chief of Protocol and Executive Director of the Office of Protocol and Blair House, the President’s Guesthouse, until 1995, and Protocol Advisor to the Director, 1997 Denver Summit of the Eight. He served as a Foreign Affairs Consultant to the State of Hawaii Department of Planning and Economic Development, and Special Assistant for International Affairs in the Mayor’s Office, Seattle. He is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and an authority on green conferencing. He received an Asian Business Leadership Award from the U.S.-Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce and Wells Fargo Bank in 2007.
Mary Jane Lee is Executive Vice President and Business Manager. A former newspaper editor and writer, she is also a Registered Nurse with degrees from Rutgers and Seton Hall. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji and co-developer and trainer of a Fiji nurse-midwives course.
Paul McKinney is Vice President and Program Manager. He is the contract program manager for HLA’s Missile Defense Agency Visual Information Production Center task order. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has supported the Missile Defense Agency for more than 15 years in various capacities including facilities planning, site activation, and as a program manager.
Eve Garrison is Director of Human Resources. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has been a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2008. Eve has been working in government contracting for over ten years and joined HLA in 2010.
